Booking timeline

3–4 weeks out

Lock the date and therapist count. Popular Fridays and the weeks around holidays fill first.

1 week out

Share the signup sheet. A posted schedule roughly doubles participation compared with walk-ups alone.

Event day

Therapists arrive 15 minutes early, set up in the room you've reserved, and run continuously through the window.

What you need on site

  • A quiet-ish room, corner, or unused conference room — about 6 x 6 feet per chair
  • One standard outlet is helpful but not required
  • No table, oil, or changing needed — sessions are fully clothed
  • A door or divider if you want more privacy; many teams run it right in an open lounge
  • $2M/$6M liability coverage, and certificates of insurance available for building management

Planner questions

How many therapists do we need?
Divide the number of people you want served by four per therapist-hour for 15-minute sessions. For 60 people in a 4-hour window, two to three therapists is the usual answer.
Do employees need to sign up in advance?
It works either way, but a signup sheet keeps the schedule full and avoids a queue. We provide one you can post or circulate.
Can you run it alongside food or other activities?
Yes. Chair massage pairs well with a catered lunch or a benefits fair — people rotate through while the rest of the event continues.
How far in advance should we book?
Three to four weeks is comfortable. We can often accommodate shorter notice, especially mid-week.
